New Teak Deck

Lagoon catamarans are not offered with an option for a complete and high-quality teak deck at the shipyard. We can fit a new catamaran like this Lagoon 51 with a new teak deck or renew an existing teak deck on catamarans. 


The teak deck is individually tailored to the yacht and the needs of our customers: choose between black, grey and white seams, determine the areas to be fitted with a teak deck and specify the thickness of the teak deck individually. 


The installation of the vacuum-bonded teak deck on the new Lagoon 51 catamaran took 10 working days and was carried out on delivery at the shipyard in Bordeaux, France.


The new teak deck was completely manufactured by us in Germany, equipped with a permanently installed moisture barrier and delivered in pre-caulked panels up to 12 metres long. 


All teak deck elements were then installed by us using the vacuum bonding method - so even after decades there is no risk of water penetrating the sandwich core of the GRP superstructure. 


Genuine Burmese teak wood from our stock, full-bottom seams and our special deck construction techniques make our teak deck for the Lagoon 51 a customised quality product.

Our quote

You will receive a customised offer from us.  To help you plan better, we offer our teak decks at fixed prices.  

Measuring & templating your boat deck

We come to you on board and create three-dimensional templates from the deck surfaces. Depending on the application with one of our digital measuring systems or by hand from thin, warp-free plywood. 

Production of the teak deck

We then manufacture your teak deck in our production facility. A deck for a 45ft yacht has a construction time of approx. 3 weeks.  

Installation

We come to you with the finished deck - Europe-wide. Usually, the old teak deck is removed, the boat deck structure is refurbished and the new deck is installed using the vacuum bonding method. Your boat is ready for use again after only a short installation time!
